It’s been ages since we’ve studied Acts together in the Little Bible Plan, and I’m SO excited to announce that we’ll be going through the entire book of Acts this summer! We’ll read the first 11 chapters this month, continue our study in July, and then wrap it up in the first couple weeks of August.
Acts is such an incredible book to go along with the theme of renewing your faith—it starts off right as Jesus is going back to Heaven and follows the events of the early church, including the coming of the Holy Spirit.
If you need help understanding the passages or want to dive deeper in your study, I highly recommend the Enduring Word commentaries!
This is all about refreshing your relationship with Jesus. Spending time with Him. Growing closer to Him. Falling more in love with Him. This isn’t about earning salvation—that’s something that can’t be earned and comes through faith in Jesus alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you’ve never given your life to Jesus or trusted in Him to be your Savior, please check out this blog post!
But, as Christians, sometimes we find ourselves a little distant from Jesus. A little dry spiritually. A little drained or distracted.
If this is you, I have encouraging news—you’re not alone, and God is still holding you, still pursuing you, and still loving you! That’s just the kind of God He is. He never gives up on you. And there’s nothing too broken for Him to heal—He is our Jehovah Rapha, our Healer!
